The BSTMS Dispora Effect
Back in 2001 two managers attended a BSTMS Management Programme commissioned by the NYC division of a large German Investment Bank.
7 years later, those same managers who now work for the Investments Operations group of an American Global Investment Management organisation, tracked BSTMS down and contracted us to develop and deliver a similar Management Programme for the IO group.
Delivered by Marie Panyko, one of our US-based Consultants in Boston in 2007-2008, the programme focussed on managing within a Global Matrix Structure and a rapidly changing environment.
World-wide Custodian Engages BSTMS
BSTMS have been selected by a leading Asset Management and Securities Services company to support the design and delivery of a strategy-linked Management Tookit.
Lead by BSTMS' Managing Director, Andy Mutter, the pilot began in November 2007 with 3-hour Time Management Learning Bites. Modules on Communication and Conflict management are scheduled for 2008.
BSTMS Managing within the Law Courses
Through a leading BPO company, BSTMS recently worked with the Managers of a London-based Re-insurance company to improve Best Management Practice and ensure management is conducted within the Law.
BSTMS' Alison McDowell and Mick Pickersgill designed and delivered this successful project.
BSTMS Recruitment Interviewing for the Rail Safety and Standards Board
Throughout 2007, BSTMS have been working with the Rail Safety and Standards Board to train 50 line managers from across 15 departments in Recruitment and Selection Interviewing Techniques to improve appointment decisions.BSTMS Cross-cultural Awareness
During 2007, the increasing popularity of Deepak Mahtani's Cross-cultural Awareness programmes saw the development of a 'Working with the British' and a 'Working with Singapore' course for a Global American Investment Bank.
Deepak also delivered the 'Cross-cultural Awareness: India' course in Geneva and there are plans to rollout further sessions during 2008.
